CTET

ABOUT CTET

The Central Board of Secondary Education administers the CTET, or Central Teacher Eligibility Test, at the national level in India (CBSE). It is used to judge whether or not candidates for teacher positions are qualified. CTET is held twice a year and is intended for teachers who desire to teach in grades 1-8.

Paper 1 and Paper 2 are the two types of CTET tests. Paper 1 is given by candidates who intend to teach in grades 1-5. Paper 2 is taken by candidates who intend to teach in grades 5-8.

The CTET examination is administered offline and lasts 150 minutes. English and Hindi are among the languages utilised in the exam. CTET is held in over 112 cities around India. The admit card for the exam is usually made available three weeks before the exam date.

Candidates can obtain a copy from the official website. The Admit Card is a required document in order to be admitted to the centre. It contains all of the candidate’s crucial information, such as name, identification, exam day, time, address, and so on

To be eligible for the CTET, a candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks in order to be hired as a primary school teacher. Candidates must also finish the teacher training programmes that have been assigned to them.
